Magnetic Block Set

I've already left a review for this, but having now bought two sets, I just wanted to give a little more feedback. The children are all very drawn to this set, which was bought for a nursery school. They have been very engaged with it. For older children, the little picture cards suggesting the different patterns that can be made are a very nice added feature. The only thing that really limits its use is that it really needs more long cuboids/rectangles without wheels. The only long cuboids in the set have attached wheels for making cars. I would rather just have four of these and some extra long cuboids for building walls, because with two sets you can start to build a little house. We really like the curved blocks. They are very very useful. The little triangles are not so useful as the rest, and we would rather have some extra long cuboids instead.... to the extent that I have started searching the internet for a similar set to integrate with this one to add more pieces. If this company made another set with extra shapes, I would buy it.

This is a very good product which is versatile enough to be used by children of different ages and abilities. My very autistic, nearly three year old grandson was fascinated by the way the blocks stick together and the toy held his attention for a long time. The pieces are small enough to be held by little hands, but big enough for useful play. My only gripe is that the cost is too high and £44.99 is too much for this item. I've given five stars because the toy is so good and I don't think my thoughts about the price should affect my assessment of the product.
